Randa El Khatib is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Arts, Culture and Media at the University of Toronto Scarborough. She is the Co-Director of the Digital Humanities Summer Institute and the Editor of Early Modern Digital Review. El Khatib’s dissertation “Building Literary Geographies: Modelling and Prototyping as Modes of Inquiry” (University of Victoria 2021) focuses on prototyping web mapping tools for geolocating and visualizing cultural materials. El Khatib’s work appears in Digital Scholarship in the Humanities, Digital Humanities Quarterly, Digital Studies/Le champ numérique, and other scholarly venues. She recently published a special issue titled Spatial Humanities (2022) with Renaissance and Reformation / Renaissance et Réforme. Her current interests include digital humanities, spatial humanities, and scholarly communication.
