Haley Bryant
PhD Student
Haley Bryant (she/her) is a Doctoral Student in the iSchool at the University of Toronto. Haley earned a B.S. in Anthropology and Human Biology from Emory University in 2013 and an M.A. in Museum Anthropology from the George Washington University in 2016. Her previous doctoral research focused on community archiving projects and critical archival praxis.
The research Haley is pursuing now at U of T takes a research-creation approach to digital cultural heritage collaborations as communities of practice. She is a student member and research assistant with The Great Lakes Research Alliance and a doctoral fellow with the Smithsonian Institution’s Recovering Voices Program at the National Museum of Natural History.
